The town MOYAUX (14590) is part of the department CALVADOS in the region BASSE NORMANDIE. Il spread over 1623 hectares at an altitude of 155 meters.

L'architecture typique du « coeur du bourg » surprend et réjouit le visiteur qui découvre Moyaux. Ceinturée de verts tilleuls et de façades commerçantes, la place centrale est curieusement dominée par une église à la flèche inclinée ; les six routes convergeant vers cette place donnent l'impression que vu du ciel, Moyaux ressemble à ... un moyeu. Autour s'étend une vaste campagne parsemée de hameaux.

 

Riche de 1300 habitants, elle est la commune pilote du canton et le siège de la Communauté de communes « Moyaux-Porte du Pays d'Auge » ; son équilibre économique repose sur les activités agricoles, commerçantes, industrielles, artisanales et touristiques.
